How Long Will My Project Take?
The timeline for each project varies depending on its scope, but here’s a general overview of the process for a typical full home remodel:
Client Intake/Bidding Phase:
  • Reach Out: You contact us and we start with a 15-minute phone call.
  • On-Site Walkthrough: Scheduled within 2 weeks of our initial call. During this visit, a contractor may join to provide a preliminary estimate and get the ball rolling (nothing is final until the design is completed). This may take about a week.
  • Design Proposal: Our design team will present a design proposal along with the contractor’s estimate.
Moving Forward:
  • Service Agreement: Once you’re ready to proceed, you’ll receive a service agreement, a deposit invoice, and a welcome packet.
  • Project Scheduling: After reviewing and signing the documents, we officially add your project to our calendar and schedule your design meeting within 3 weeks.
Design Process:
  • Timeline: The design process takes anywhere from 6-12 weeks. This includes revision rounds and the contractor review stage where they refine your estimate based on the final design.
Build Phase:
  • Duration: The build phase can range from 12 weeks to 9 months on average. The exact timeline will be established once we have clear information on your project.
We’re always conscious of placing value back into your home with remodels and stay informed on the latest real estate and finance trends to ensure we help increase your home’s value.
Do You Welcome Client’s Opinions and Perspectives?
Absolutely! Our goal is to craft stunning designs that resonate with your unique perspective, lifestyle, and home goals. We thrive on learning how you live in your space. It’s a collaborative journey, and there’s nothing more rewarding for us than creating a home that truly embodies your life and story. While we work best with clients who trust our professional judgment and expertise, we always include revision rounds. Your feedback is essential in these stages, ensuring we fine-tune the design to perfectly suit your needs.
What is Your Process with the Contractor?
We’re happy to recommend professionals for hanging art, assembling furniture, and even minor construction tasks like wall paneling or painting and wallpapering. You’re also welcome to use contractors recommended by friends and family. For major construction projects, like bathroom or kitchen remodels, we’ll suggest contractors or help you interview any recommendations you’ve received. While we don’t book contractors for you, we’re here to help you find the best fit for your needs and can assist in gathering bids from contractors we regularly work with.
How Do You Establish Your Design Fees?
Each project is its own adventure, bringing unique challenges and opportunities. That’s why we don’t do one-size-fits-all pricing. Instead, we create a custom scope of work and proposal tailored to your specific needs. This way, you get a clear picture of what to expect and we can ensure every detail is covered, giving you the best possible experience and results. Let’s craft something amazing together!
What is ‘Full Service’ Interior Design?

Full service interior design means we’ve got you covered from start to finish. It’s a turn-key service that handles everything—from coming up with the initial concept to the final installation. We take care of every little detail, like sourcing items, coordinating with tradespeople and project management of the design implementation. By the time we’re done, all you have to do is sit back and enjoy your new space. Trust us to handle it all so you can enjoy the fun part—living in your beautifully designed home!

What Do I Need to Know About Hiring an Interior Designer?

Hiring an interior designer can turn your project into a rewarding, stress-free experience. We’re here to help you create a beautiful home, but that’s just the start. We’ll help you define the budget and scope of your project, and we have the connections to recommend the best contractors to get the job done.

We handle everything from renovations and new builds to picking out furnishings and soft goods. When you choose to work with our firm, we really shine with clients who are ready to trust the design process and rely on our team’s selections and recommendations. Trust us, it makes everything smoother and way more enjoyable!

What does an interior designer do and how are they different from a contractor or architect?
An interior designer’s job is all about making a space look great and work well. We team up with clients to nail down a look that suits their lifestyle and makes their daily life better. Depending on the project, we might work with other pros like architects and contractors. As your designer, we’ll pick out all the finishes for your home—things like tile, plumbing fixtures, and furniture. Architects, on the other hand, are the go-to experts for building and structure. You’ll see them involved in additions or new builds. Then, there’s the contractor, who takes the design plans from the architect and designer and turns them into reality. Together, we make sure your project comes together just the way you envisioned.
What is procurement and how is your firm different from others?

Procurement usually means a design team handles purchasing, storing, delivering, and installing all the soft finishes in your home—furniture, rugs, art, and lighting. But our approach is different! Rather than managing every step, we provide you with our customized Shopping List, covering colors, fabrics, quantities, and sizes for each item. This list empowers you to make direct purchases (hello, credit card points!) while we support you with two service options:

● Level 1: Client-Managed Ordering Perfect for clients who want more involvement, this option allows you to receive decor items as they arrive, typically with white-glove delivery from each vendor. We place orders and track deliveries, while you handle receiving and setup as items come in over time.

● Level 2: Full-Service Storage & Installation For a hands-off experience, this option includes third-party storage until all items are ready. Once everything has arrived, our team coordinates a single, seamless installation day, giving you a finished space in one go.

In both levels, we pass on any store discounts (often around 20% off), helping you maximize value. This model lets us focus on design and client connection while keeping your investment more manageable than traditional firms.
